(47a) Rock Skills Intermediate, Dalkey, 04-05 October
This course takes two days and builds on the climbers existing skills. You will learn rope work, anchors, top and bottom rope systems and safe belaying. I teach every subject in a structured and progressive and relaxed way. So by the end of the course the student should expect to have covered all the skills necessary to set up and use a top and bottom rope, belay safely and also have had the opportunity to acquire the skills to become a competent second to a lead climber.

May Bank Holiday Weekend: Saturday, 02 May. This course takes one day. Rock Skills Introduction, is an ideal introduction to climbing outdoors or for those who have never climbed or climbed outdoors before and would like to give it a go.

Climbing time is maximised, 8 hours contact time. Fundamental skills and techniques are covered such as how to tie into the rope and how to move efficiently and safely on rock. Enjoying your time climbing is emphasised. Every effort is made to encourage and equip the participant with the skills and enthusiasm necessary to progress to the next stage of climbing.
